    The first pipes have been laid as part of the Nord Stream 2 gas pipeline project near the German coast of the  Baltic Sea, reported the German company Uniper, one of the European partners of Gazprom.     On July 31, Alexander Hamburg, the German lawyer for Russian businessman Andrey Kovalchuk told DW that his client was extradited from Germany to Russia before they were able to appeal the court’s decision.   • Poland intends to demand military reparations from Russia

    The Polish Sejm intends to make a claim against Russia regarding the payment of military reparations, stated Arkadiusz Mularczyk, the Head of the Sejm Committee on the Payment of Military Reparations in an interview with Rzeczpospolita news outlet.
