News of the death of LPR commander 'Plastun' appears in social networks
Bloggers recently wrote that a separatist commander with the call sign Plastun was killed in the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic or LPR, Ukrinform reports.
The death of the field commander was also confirmed by the Deputy Minister of Ukraine for the temporarily occupied territories, Heorhiy Tuka. Former Chairman of the Supreme Council of the LPR declared wanted by separatist authorities
The Prosecutor’s Office of the so-called Luhansk People’s Republic declared that the former Chairman of the Supreme Council of the self-declared republic, Aleksey Karyakin, is wanted.
Karyakin is accused of “an attempt on the life of a law enforcement officer and a serviceman, the deliberate damage of property resulting in significant damage, illegal acquisition, [and the] possession, transportation or carrying of firearms and ammunition.”

UN Urges Rebel Leaders to allow Humanitarian Organizations in Donbas Region
In his address to the UN Security Council on December 11th, the Director of Operations for the United Nations Office for the Coordination of Humanitarian Affairs, John Ging, called on the pro-Russian separatists in the Donbas region to allow free access to humanitarian missions in the area.
