    The Ukrainian filmmaker Oleh Sentsov, who is currently being imprisoned in Russia, has been awarded the “Sakharov Prize for Freedom of Thought”.

    Channel 24 reports that according to the Ukrainian political prisoner’s sister Natalia Kaplan, Oleh Sentsov was sent to the intensive care in Labytnangi hospital.

  • EU demands Sentsov’s release and medical treatment

    The EU is demanding that Russia “not only provide Oleh Sentsov with quick and appropriate medical treatment, but also immediately release him, together with the other Ukrainians being held illegally in Russia and Crimea”.

  • Russia threatens Sentsov into quitting hunger strike

    The European Court of Human Rights (ECHR) agreed to review the lawsuit of Ukrainian director Oleh Sentsov, stated the head of the Inter-Regional Association of Human Rights Agora, Pavel Chikov on his Telegram channel.
