    US Ambassador to Ukraine Marie Yovanovitch believes that an audit of the Ukrainian state defense industry concern Ukroboronprom will assist the fight against corruption in the national security sector.

    Press service of the Ukrainian stated-owned arms manufacture and exporter, Ukroboronprom, reported that the Ukrainian army had received about 50 repaired and modernized aircraft and helicopters from its 16 subsidiaries.

  • Russia expands sanctions against Ukraine 

    Russian Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev announced that the list of Ukrainian citizens and companies under sanctions would be expanded. 

    “The list of persons and legal entities of Ukraine, that will be included in the list of special restrictive measures has been expanded. I signed the appropriate decree,” wrote Medvedev on Twitter.

  • Ukrainian military receives revamped Urahan multiple rocket launchers

    The state corporation Shepetivsky Repair Plant has finished overhauling a batch of 220mm Urahan multiple rocket launchers (MRL) and has handed them over to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, as was reported by the press service of the Ukrainian state defense concern Ukroboronprom, which includes the Shepetivsky Plant. The size of the batch was not stated.

    The Ukrainian state-owned company SpetsTechnoExport and Turkish company Aselsan signed an agreement to produce Turkish radio sets in Ukraine, stated the press-service of SpetsTechnoExport’s parent company, Ukroboronprom.   • Ukraine completes delivery of Oplot tanks to Thailand

    The Ukroboronprom State Concern recently announced completion of the contract for supplying Oplot-T tanks to Thailand.
