Estonian President lists topics for upcoming discussion with Putin

Estonian President Kersti Kaljulaid stated during a television broadcast that she wants to discuss with her Russian counterpart Vladimir Putin the conflicts in Ukraine and Georgia.

According to her, politicians in the world talk a lot about the Russian Federation, but no one talks with Russia. “We have a few things in common, therefore such a meeting is very important,” Kaljulaid said, as quoted by Interfax.

She also added that bilateral relations between Estonia and Russia are also of interest, given that the countries have border and cultural cooperation.

Kaljulaid’s visit to Moscow is scheduled for April 18. She will attend the opening of the historical building of Estonia’s Embassy after its renovation.
