Ukrainian Ministry of Defense and Microsoft sign memorandum of cooperation
The Ministry of Defense of Ukraine and Microsoft Ukraine have signed a memorandum of cooperation, as reported by the press service of the defense department.
According to the report, the memorandum was signed on Monday, November 27.
“The subject of the memorandum is interaction with regard to the introduction of modern information technology in the field of defense, taking into account NATO’s standards and approaches...Collaboration involves drawing on Microsoft’s experience in cooperating with the armed forces of NATO member states, countries of the EU and the U.S. to build a secure IT infrastructure for the Ministry of Defense of Ukraine, introduce defense information systems, and provide the necessary level of security,” the report said.
The memorandum refers to the providing of support in the training of IT specialists of the Ministry.
