Trump to discuss the situation in eastern Ukraine with the President of Poland

President of the United States Donald Trump will discuss the situation in eastern Ukraine with his Polish counterpart Andrzej Duda during his visit to Poland. This was reported by Poland’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Witold Waszczykowski, reported Radio Poland.

According to him, Trump will arrive in Poland on the evening of July 5, and his visit will last until the early afternoon hours on July 6. Waszczykowski said that one of the goals of Trump's visit will be a personal meeting with Duda. However, if the US head of state is accompanied by a delegation, meetings will take place in a broader format. The arrival of the head of the National Security Agency has not been ruled out.

Waszczykowski stressed that the talks will be about bilateral relations, especially economic cooperation, gas supplies, defense cooperation and the Russian-Ukrainian war. The situation in the Middle East will also be discussed.

Recently, the US Embassy in Ukraine called for an end to military clashes in the Donbas.
