Yatsenyuk Outlines Priorities of Cabinet of Ministers in 2016

According to Ukrainian Prime Minister, Arseniy Yatsenyuk, the Ukrainian government in 2016 will implement policies aimed at opening new markets for Ukrainian products and creating new workplaces, as reported by the Glavnoe, citing Yatsenyuk during the program "10 minutes with the Prime Minister."

"We will concentrate our forces on gaining all the possible advantages offered by the free trade zone agreement with the EU. A separate area of work will focus on the special trade missions of our country abroad, to support Ukrainian exports," said Yatsenyuk. In addition, he said, would continue work on tax reforms, economic deregulation policies and de-monopolization.

One of the priorities the Prime Minister also called for was conducting fair privatization. He recalled that the Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) has unsuccessfully tried to adopt a new law on privatization eleven times already. "Let the government conduct a transparent privatization that will attract new investments and create new jobs," he stressed.

In addition, according to Yatsenyuk, the government will continue to work on the simplification of administrative services in the country. "The focus will be on the reform of the State Fiscal Service. Several Ukrainian customs will go under management of leading foreign companies as an emergency way to resist corruption and abuse," said Yatsenyuk.
