Putin: Russia’s relations with Ukraine will warm up

Moscow is not interested in "freezing" the conflict in the Donbas and after its settlement, Russian-Ukrainian relations should warm up, as stated on Thursday, January 11th by Russian President Vladimir Putin at a meeting with the heads of Russian media agencies, Radio Liberty writes.

"I hope that after solving the issues in the Donbas - sooner or later it will happen, there is no doubt about it, the interstate relations between Russia and Ukraine will normalize overall," he said.

At the same time, Putin did not explain under what conditions such normalization of relations between Kyiv and Moscow is possible.

Earlier Putin said that Russia is ready to return Ukraine’s military equipment from the Crimea.
