Saakashvili announced his readiness to lead new government of Ukraine

The former President of Georgia and leader of the Rukh Novykh Syl (Movement of New Forces), Mikheil Saakashvili, has declared that Ukraine needs a new authority and a new government, which he is ready to lead, as he announced during the meeting, which was held on November 19th at Constitution Square near the Verkhovna Rada.

"Ukraine needs new power and the creation of a new government, we must create them together, I am ready to do it with you. We must find new people for the new government ... I am ready to lead this process together with you and I am ready to head this government if necessary," Saakashvili said.

"December 3rd will be the beginning of the people's impeachment. ... We have created information centers in every region of Ukraine. ... December 3rd is the X-hour, for us, for them and for the country. I will travel around the country, raise people, without provocation, peacefully and calmly, reasonably, with a plan and candidates for specific positions," noted the leader of the Rukh Novykh Syl.

"We will wait until December 3rd and if the authorities do not fulfill our demands, we will declare the people's impeachment," Saakashvili added.

Several hundred people participated in the event in front of the Verkhovna Rada. Activists of the RNS, people's deputies, Serhiy Leshchenko and Yuri Derevyanko, and others performed on the stage.

The people who came to the meeting greeted these words with applause.

Former Georgian President Mikheil Saakashvili received a Ukrainian passport at the end of May 2015, so that he could be appointed the head of the Odessa Regional State Administration.

According to the Constitution, a citizen of Georgia cannot simultaneously be a citizen of another country, and in October 2015 the Georgian Ministry of Justice started the procedure to revoke Saakashvili’s citizenship.

In November 2016, Saakashvili resigned from the post of the head of the State Regional Administration and joined the opposition party. In the summer of 2017, President Petro Poroshenko terminated his Ukrainian citizenship based on his filing inaccurate information when registering for citizenship.

Saakashvili was in the USA at that time. In early September 2017, he crossed the border of Ukraine with the help of his supporters .
