Journalist: Two convoys of Russian infantry vehicles headed towards Ukraine

On April 7, residents of the Russian settlement Petrovka in the Rostov region filmed a convoy of BMD infantry fighting vehicles that were moving toward the border with Ukraine, reports Voice of America journalist Fatima Tlisova on Twitter.

Residents told the journalist that this is the second convoy of Russian BMDs that drove through their settlement. Each BMD can carry three crew members and five airborne troops. The distance from Petrovka to the border with Ukraine is more than 80 km.

Previously, it was reported that Russia has been deploying military equipment with UN markings to its border with Ukraine.
