Ukrainian President signs decree on measures to counter Russian information aggression
President Petro Poroshenko has signed a decree to enact a new decision by the National Security and Defense Council (NSDC) that includes additional measures to counter information aggression by Russia.
Decree No. 25/2018 was published on the President's website on February 9, though the measures were marked “for internal use” and not made public.
The NSDC meeting during which these measures were put under consideration occurred on January 26.
On February 5, Poroshenko enacted the NSDC’s decision regarding the draft law on national security. He enacted the state defense order for 2018 and subsequent years on January 29.
