Ukraine bans fifty brands of Russian medicine

Ukraine has banned the sale, storage and use of 68 medicines, 43 of which were manufactured in Russia, following order Number 7308 published on August 17 by the State Service of Ukraine for Medications and Drug Control.

The main reason for the ban is the continued importation of these medicines to Ukraine in violation of legislative requirements. All drug stores must destroy these medicines or return them to the producer.

Ukrainian, German, Polish, Hungarian, Bulgarian, Belgian, French, Romanian, Danish, Spanish, Italian and Austrian medicines are also in the list.

Earlier, the State Service for Medications and Drugs Control of Ukraine revoked a temporary ban order on Bulgarian BCG vaccine.
