The US Senate has approved the appoint of Marie Yovanovitch as the next Ambassador to Ukraine, Evropeyskaya Pravda reported, referencing New York Times journalist David M. Herszenhorn.

Yovanovitch will replace Geoffrey Pyatt, who has been appointed the next US Ambassador to Greece.
