The European Commission (EC) offered mediation services to Russia and Ukraine in the dispute over the new Nord Stream-2 gas pipeline construction. Germany has decided to resume the upgrading of Leopard 2 tanks to the new 2AV7 series, reports Die Welt.

US Ambassador to Germany Richard Grenell criticized the Nord Stream 2 project during an interview with Funke Mediengruppe.
