Media: About 1 billion USD is required to organize industrial production of Ukrainian MSB-2 helicopter
Around 1 billion USD is required for the creation and organization of mass production of Ukrainian helicopters. The MSB-2 light helicopter, which was first created as part of experimental development work by Korolek, is currently being tested by the factory. The aircraft company is planning to raise 600 million UAH of the whole amount independently.
In an article on ZN.ua by Dmitri Mendeleev, the expert states that according to the most conservative estimates, implementation of such a project could save almost $100 million, which would be used to buy 50 helicopters of a similar class abroad.
Mendeleev emphasized: “Ukraine will be able to export annually more than 50 light helicopters and will also be capable of supplying them in the domestic market.”
