Chief Military Prosecutor of Ukraine: those responsible for the series of brazen terrorist acts that shocked Ukraine will be soon found
The organization of a number of high-profile terrorist attacks in Ukraine was carried out by special centers created in the DPR (Donetsk People’s Republic) and LPR (Luhansk People’s Republic), as stated by the chief military prosecutor, Anatolii Matios, at a briefing in Kyiv.
"As a result of the investigation conducted by the Military Prosecutor’s Office and the Security Service into the attacks against the Colonel [the head of the special reserve forces department of the Main Intelligence Directorate of the Ministry of Defense] Shapoval, [SBU Colonel] Kharaberyush, and the murder of Ukrainian journalist Pavlo Sheremet, we have been able to come close to the people who organized the terrorist acts" Matios said.
According to the Military Prosecutor's Office, special organizations operate in the part of the Donbas controlled by the DPR and LPR. These centers are run by officers of the Russian Special Services.
"The investigation has obtained the names and contact information for these people. These center organized terrorist acts and received assistance in carrying out these acts from a significant number of citizens who live in different regions in Ukraine. Work is now underway to detain these people," the military prosecutor noted.
