Crimea authorities hope the air traffic with Ukraine will resume

Chairman of the Committee of the Parliament of Crimea on health-resort complex and tourism Alexey Chernyak said that the Crimean airport is ready to accept the flights from Ukraine.

According to him, the resumption of air traffic, that stopped in October 2015, is primarily beneficial to Ukraine itself.

He also expressed the opinion that the Crimean resorts are still top-rated among Ukrainians who would like to see the air transport issue to be resolved.

"Our airport is ready to receive flights from the European countries, America and Ukraine. Crimea is a hospitable region and is anticipating foreign tourists," Chernyak said.
