Ukraine’s Presidential candidate and actor Volodymyr Zelensky will visit Paris (France) to meet with French President Emmanuel Macron on April 12, the same day as Ukraine’s President Petro Poroshenko, announced at a briefing Poroshenko’s external adviser and spokesperson for his election campaign, Oleg Medvedev.
"I know that Zelensky will travel to meet Macron. French authorities coordinated this issue with the Ukrainian side through the diplomatic channels. The Poroshenko’s view is that it would be good for Zelensky to get off the stage, leave the show business and dive a little into the world of real politics, including the international one, and get some experience. Therefore, I know that Zelensky, it seems, will be on Friday in Paris and will really hold a meeting with Macron. Poroshenko should be in Paris on the same day and will also hold a meeting with Macron ", he said.
Poroshenko will travel to Paris to meet with Macron after his meeting with German Chancellor Angela Merkel in Berlin on April 12.
The Central Election Commission of Ukraine scheduled the second round of elections on April 21, during which the candidate who gets more votes wins.
