More than a thousand military personnel from Russia’s tank division participate in a snap inspection

Russia’s TASS news agency reported that a snap check of combat readiness began on March 23rd in the Kantemirovskaya tank division in the Moscow region, where more than 1,000 servicemen are taking part. This was reported by the press service of the Western Military District.

"On March 23, a number of units of the Kantemirovskaya Tank Division of the Western Military District were brought to the highest degree of combat readiness. More than 1,000 servicemen and about 300 combat and special equipment units were involved in the readiness check," the report says. Presently, tank crews are preparing combat and special equipment for mobilization. Mobile control and communication posts have already been deployed to special positions in the Moscow region.

"The purpose of the inspection is to make a comprehensive check of the troops’ combat training, to check the readiness of formations and military units to fulfill their tasks in the shortest possible time and to assess the level of combat training and teamwork," the press service added. The 4th Kantemirovskaya Tank Division is stationed in Naro-Fominsk in the Moscow region.
