Russia holds military exercises in the Crimea

In the Crimea, at the Angarsk training ground, the Russian military is conducting combat training with artillery units from Russian Black Sea Fleet, as reported by the press service of the Russian Ministry of Defense.

D-30 howitzer artillery crews, Msta-B multiple rocket launchers, and Grad and mortar sub-elements will practice the task of transporting and preparing artillery units for battle as well as fulfilling the standards for gun displacement,” noted in the press service.

The Russian Defense Ministry added that in the course of training the actions and observations of intelligence posts are also being reviewed.

On June 14th, in Simferopol, command post exercises on the topic “The actions of the territorial defense authorities in case of threat or occurrence of aggression against Russian Federation,” were conducted.

Earlier, the General Staff of Ukraine, called the Russian military exercises in the annexed Crimea illegal.
