Ukrainian President Poroshenko buys 430 sniper rifles for paratroopers

With the assistance of the Roshen Company, 430 sniper rifles Zbroyar Z-10 and Savage-110 were acquired and handed over to paratrooper assault units of the Ukranian Armed Forces, reported on Facebook the Advisor of Ukrainian Ministry of Defense, Yuriy Biryukov. Russian submarine approaches Latvian border

A Russian submarine came close to Latvia’s borders on September 11, the Latvian National Armed Forces posted on Twitter.

Turkey tells Syrian opposition to prepare for transfer to Idlib

The opposition Free Syrian Army (FSA) was told by Turkey to prepare for the possible movement of a large contingent of fighters into Syria’s Idlib province,  reported the pro-government Turkish newspaper Yeni Safak on Monday.

Russia convenes UN Security Council session on Syria

Russia has asked that an open session of the UN Security Council be held in order to discus the results of the summit between Russia, Iran and Turkey, Interfax reports, citing Russia’s permanent representative to the UN.
