Kazakhstan has offered Ukraine the option to use an alternative transport route through the Kazakh port of Aktau to bypass the Russian territory. Russian writer calls on Russia to annex northern Kazakhstan

Early parliamentary elections were held on Sunday in Kazakhstan, resulting in to a clear victory of President Nursultan Nazarbayev’s ruling party with 81 percent of the votes.
