Ships of the Russian Armed Forces were spotted again near the Latvian border, BNS reported, referencing a report by the Latvian National Armed Forces.
“In a special economic zone of Latvia, 12 nautical miles from the territorial waters of the country, Russian ships (SB-121 and Kashtan classes) were spotted,” the report stated. “Also, 6.5 nautical miles from territorial waters, a landing ship of the Ropucha class appeared.”

The decision to strike the Syrian Pantsir-S1 anti-air missile system was made after it opened fire on Israeli aircraft, the Israeli Defense Force (IDF) told TASS in a press conference.

US Representative for Ukraine Volker to visit Donbas next week
US State Department Special Representative for Ukraine Negotiations Kurt Volker will visit eastern Ukraine next week, according to his message on Twitter. "Next week I will visit the east of Ukraine to see the situation on the ground and learn about the humanitarian crisis in the Donbas," he wrote.

Russia to exclude American drugs from the sanctions list
Interfax reports that the State Duma of Russia is amending the draft bill on counter sanctions to avoid prohibiting the import of drugs from the U.S. that are similar to those which exist in Russia, Ivan Melnikov, the First Deputy Chairman of the State Duma, stated.
