Kaczynski says his party needs three terms in order to change Poland

The ruling party of Poland, the Law and Justice Party, needs three terms in power in order to change the country,as stated by the party’s chairman Jaroslaw Kaczynski in an interview with Gazeta Polska, reports news agency Niezalezna.

There are places which, in our opinion, need so much modernization and even fundamental changes to make Poland modern, free from the burdens of the past, and friendly to citizens, that we need not two, but at least three terms. Therefore, we are ready for a long haul, and that is our goal,” said Kaczynski.

Speaking about their chances in the next election, he noted that the Law and Justice Party can again receive a vote of confidence from the people of Poland and, after 2019, start a new stage of changes in Poland.

According to Kaczynski, prerequisites for the Law and Justice Party to retain power for more than two terms are unity and the “radical removal of pathologies.”
