US-led coalition strikes Assad army

Warplanes of the U.S.-led coalition have again struck the forces of Bashar Assad, reported the Syrian state agency SANA, citing military sources.

According to SANA, the planes that carried out the attack belonged to the U.S. Air Force. The attack took place in an area that is southeast of the city of Abu Kamal. This city is located on the Euphrates River in the province of Deir ez-Zor, near the border with Iraq.

Ukrainian Security Service demands Ukrainian Internet providers block 181 sites

Russian billionaire Oleg Deripaska’s company, UC Rusal, requested through Prime Minister Dmitry Medvedev to reduce costs for transportation of raw materials and finished products by rail, the Kommersant newspaper reports.

Donetsk Region Court releases a Russian sniper who fought for the Donetsk People’s Republic

On May 18, Krasnoarmiisky City District Court of the Donetsk region released a man charged with unleashing and waging aggressive war, involvement in a separatist organization, violating the procedure of entry into and exit from the temporarily annexed territory, illegal handling of weapons and infringement of territorial integrity and sovereignty of Ukraine.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Russia urgently recalled the third secretary of the Consulate General of the Russian Federation in Odessa, Andrey Malakey.
