    The Principal Deputy Chief of the OSCE Special Monitoring Mission (SMM) to Ukraine, Alexander Hug, during a press briefing on Tuesday in Donetsk stated that pro-Russian separatists attempt to deceive monitors by having people who pretend to be local residents talk with members of the SMM.  As reported by Ukrinform, the leaders of the separatists organize buses to transport "local residents" from village to village to spread misinformation to the OSCE.

    The leader of the so-called Donetsk People’s Republic (DPR), Alexander Zakharchenko, has stated that the separatists are ready to cooperate with Ukraine.  In return, they demand official recognition of the so-called DPR as an independent state.  Zakharchenko detailed these conditions to the RIA Novosti news agency.

    Members of the so-called Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) stated that entrepreneurs who organized a rally a few days ago in Luhansk will be brought to justice for organizing an unsanctioned protest rally, as reported by Alexei Cherepovski, the Deputy Minister of the Interior of the LPR.
