Crimean authorities claim that 50 foreigners that are taking part in Youth Festival in Sochi will visit Crimea

It was reported in Sevastopol that 50 foreigners who are participating in the festival of youth and students, which is held in Sochi, will be visiting Sevastopol.

As reported by TASS on October 15th, a city tour, followed by an excursion through the bays of Sevastopol on the ship Dobrokhod, is planned for the participants of the festival.

"As for the festival of youth and students, this has been planned for two years and today we are happy to see young people from different countries in Sevastopol and other cities of the country. I would very much like to see the festival remain in your souls for the rest of your lives," said Alexei Lyubtsov, Director of the International Youth Center, Rosmolodezh.

The Consulate General of Ukraine in Rostov-on-Don, the Embassy of Ukraine to the Republic of Moldova, and the Embassy of Ukraine in the Republic of Turkey called on participants and delegates of the Russian World Festival of Youth and Students not to visit the annexed Crimea as part of the event.

They are trying to legalize the Russian annexation of the Crimea at the Festival of Youth in Sochi, as Sergey Aksyonov, the Kremlin-controlled Prime Minister of the Crimea, posted on his Facebook page on October 15th, "the festival has important political significance for the Crimea."

The main events will take place in the Sochi Olympic Park this year and will gather about 20,000 young people from different countries around the world as reported by the Russian Presidential administration.
