  • Ukraine decides not to increase prices for transit of Russian gas after 2019

    During the trilateral negotiations in Berlin on July 17, Ukraine’s Naftogaz will not demand the increase of the transit rates, stated the Director of Business Development of Naftogaz of Ukraine, Yuriy Vitrenko on during a broadcast of the radio station Novoye Vremya.

  • Germany accuses Russian hackers of carrying out cyber-attacks on media and scientific organizations

    In Germany, several media outlets and a chemical research organization were exposed to cyberattacks,  Deutsche Welle reports , citing the Federal office for the Protection of the Constitution.

  • In 2019 Latvia will disconnect from Russian power system in test mode

    According to Delfi news agency, in 2019, Latvia and the other Baltic countries will be disconnected in a test mode from the Russian and Belarusian power systems. A representative of the state company Augstsprieguma Tikls explained that all the necessary power will have to be provided by the power stations in the Baltics.
