Turkey signs agreement on the provision of $3 million in aid to the Ukrainian army

Turkey has signed an agreement on the provision of $3 million in assistance to the Ukrainian army, Andrii Sybiha, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of Ukraine to Turkey, reported this on his Twitter page.

"A worthy end of the year; for the second year in a row, we are signing an agreement with Turkey on the provision of assistance to the Ukrainian army (this year in the amount of about 3 million USD). A strategic partnership in action, assistance is calculated for 5 years with an annual allocation of funds," Sybiha wrote. This is the second year in a row that the country has signed such a contract.

According to Sybiha, five such agreements are envisaged for $3 million of direct financial assistance to Ukraine for the purchase of military equipment.
