Ukrainian military liberates another village in the Donbas

Ukrainian military assumed control of the town of Zolote 4 in the Luhansk region at the end of June, said Dmytro Tymchuk, a Member of Parliament of Ukraine and a coordinator of the Information Resistance Group.

"According to current data of the Information Resistance Group, at the end of June this year, a reconnaissance company of one the combined forces reserve units has successfully liberated territory and taken control of another important administrative unit, the village of Zolote 4,” Tymchuk wrote.

"Thanks to the skilled and professional management of the battalion command and the decisive actions of Company Commander Second Lieutenant Oleh Lidenko and Platoon Commander Zurab Chikhelidze, there were no losses of Ukrainian servicemen or civilians,” the statement reads.The operation was conducted without violating the Minsk Agreements.

The city of Zolote has had a demarcation line running through it since February 2015. Previous reports showed that militants had violated a new ceasefire in the Donbas within the first few hours.
