Unknown saboteurs destroy one of the main bridges of LPR

According to Interfax, the Ministry of State Security (MSS) of the self-proclaimed Luhansk People's Republic (LPR) claims that the road bridge on the 50th kilometer of the Khrustalny-Luhansk route has been blown up by saboteurs.

The press service of the MSS stated that the Ministry of State Security of the LPR, together with the Ministry of Internal Affairs is searching for subversive and terrorist groups responsible for the bridge explosion on the night of May 20. The report notes that according to preliminary data, about 18 kilograms of explosive charges were planted six meters high at the reinforced concrete bridge supports.

"Shards of metal from an explosive device were found. Its type and planting site indicates that the sabotage was carried out by a professionally trained group, "the Ministry emphasized.

As a result of the explosion, the car traffic between the cities of Luhansk and Khrustalny and the rail traffic between Shterivka and Petrovenki stations were temporarily disrupted. There were media reports that messages in social media indicated that the locals suspected militias of being responsible for the blast.
