Poroshenko expects $500 million in defense assistance from the US
Ukrainian President Petro Poroshenko expects that the US will allocate an additional $500 million in financial assistance to Ukraine’s security and defense sector, Evropeyskaya Pravda reported.
He stated this during a ceremony in which Ukraine received AN/TPQ Firefinder radar systems from the US.
The President also thanked the US and the EU for extending sanctions against Russia.
