USAF aircraft arrives in Poland to practice offensive operations

American troops sent the EC-130H Compass Call to practice offensive operations in Poland. It is planned to be used in joint exercises with the Polish army.

As reported on the US Air Force website in Europe, the plane arrived at the Koszecin airbase. It is assigned to the 55th electronic combat group based in Davis-Monthan, Arizona.

Members of the technical team also arrived to Poland. They will join the crews of F-16C aircraft from the 52nd wing of US Air Force fighters in German Spangdahlem.

The EC-130H Compass Call is designed to suppress the enemy’s electronic warfare and attacks against its electronic infrastructure.

Earlier, it was reported that the number of US military personnel stationed in Poland could reach 5.5 thousand.
