    As reported by Belarusian news agency Belta.by, the country's Foreign Minister Uladzimer Makey visited Brussels on December 13-14 to discuss cooperation with EU and NATO officials.

  • Stoltenberg: we will not exchange Ukraine for Syria

    The West does not plan to exchange Ukraine in its efforts to resolve the situation in Syria, as stated by the Secretary General of NATO, Jens Stoltenberg, in an interview with Spanish newspaper El Pais.

    "We will not exchange Ukraine for Syria and vice versa. Russia is the country with which we cooperate, particularly in the effort of finding political solutions to these conflicts," he said.

  • NATO doubts Russia will fulfill the terms of the Minsk Agreements

    Changing the intensity of the conflict is the Russia's way to demonstrate its power, General Breedlove stated.

    Breedlove, the U.S. European Command General and the NATO Supreme Allied Commander for Europe, does not believe that Putin intends to implement the Minsk agreement.

  • Stoltenberg: Hybrid attacks can provoke NATO’s military response

    The NATO Secretary-General, Jens Stoltenberg, stated that NATO can apply article 5 of the Washington Treaty, which will provide military response to all Alliance members, even in case of hybrid attacks on one of the country-members. Stoltenberg noted that the heads of NATO Ministry of Foreign Affairs agreed on a possible application of the Article in any particular case.   • NATO Parliamentary assembly adopts Resolution on Solidarity with Ukraine

    A resolution of Solidarity with Ukraine has been adopted by the NATO Parliamentary Assembly.

    Ukrainian MP, Ivanna Klympush-Tsintsadze reports on her Facebook page that the resolution has been adopted with all the revisions requested by the Ukrainian delegation.

    It has been adopted unanimously by all the delegations of the NATO countries.

  • Pentagon chief confirms support of Ukraine.

    Ashton Carter, US Defense Secretary, confirmed Pentagon's continued support for Ukraine on Thursday at a joint press conference with his Ukrainian counterpart Stepan Poltorak in Washington, D.C.He said Pentagon would soon start training Ukrainian forces.
